Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award

As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award.

Having been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award in 2024, progressing to the Silver Award further showcases our commitment to recognising the contribution that service personnel, both regular and reservist, veterans and military families make to our organisation, community and country.

Doug McLaren, Chair of the Veterans Network said:

“We are delighted that the Veterans Network’s application for the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award has been accepted by the Ministry of Defence. In just under three years, we have gone from starting the Veterans Network, to being awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award. This is a truly amazing achievement that showcases what a dedicated group of veterans can achieve from a standing start.”
