Partnership Story: Moving Ahead

As our partner Moving Ahead celebrates its 10th anniversary, we are proud to look back over our eight years of partnership to deliver cross-company mentoring programmes for women and minority groups through the Mission Gender Equity and Mission Include programmes.

Mission Gender Equity helps female employees develop skills and grow their careers at Close Brothers, while Mission Include supports colleagues who identify as being from an underrepresented background. This includes all protected characteristics as well as broader diversity strands such as socioeconomic background, thinking styles, and intersectionality.

To date, we have supported a total of 233 colleagues on Mission Gender Equity and 109 on Mission Include.

Simon Jacobs, Group Chief Operating Officer, said: 

“This programme is really aligned with our diversity and inclusion strategy. Programmes such as Mission Include and Mission Gender Equity help us attract and retain talent, foster diversity of thought, and better understand the diverse needs of our customers.”
